UFI Filters,?already a supplier of thermal management solutions for the 3.0L diesel engines from General Motors which is used on the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado,?has won a new important project,?with the supply of the?engine oil cooler?for the?new generation of 3.0L diesel engines. With this important business award, starting from 2023 UFI Filters will provide the engine oil cooler to the new General Motors diesel Pickups and SUVs?of the?NAFTA market, for models such as GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Silverado, Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Yukon.

For General Motors this is the first application of a diesel engine on both Light Vehicle Pickups and SUVs, while for the UFI Filters Group this project represents a meaningful step forward in the US market, where we will be able to provide directly and promptly the American car maker. Indeed, the UFI heat exchanger for the new GM engine and for the previous generation, will be produced in the UFI Filters plant in Mexico.
